Our remanufactured International Harvester Dana 18 and Dana 20 transfer cases are completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and professionally rebuilt using a complete Novak rebuild kit. Each unit receives new bearings, seals, gaskets, and wear components to ensure dependable performance and long service life.

Unlike many standard rebuilds, the Novak rebuild kit includes a heavy-duty intermediate shaft, addressing one of the most common wear points in the Dana 18 and Dana 20 while providing increased durability over stock components.

To provide long-term corrosion protection and a professional finish, every transfer case housing is media blasted and powder coated prior to final assembly. This process not only enhances appearance but also helps protect the case from rust, moisture, and harsh operating environments.

Originally found in International Harvester Scout models, the Dana 18 and Dana 20 are rugged, gear-driven transfer cases known for their strength, reliability, and proven off-road capability. Every transfer case is carefully inspected for gear wear, shaft condition, housing integrity, and proper operating tolerances before final assembly.

Core Exchange Policy

A refundable core charge applies to all remanufactured transfer case purchases. Core credits are issued after the returned core has been received and inspected.

Returned cores must be complete, rebuildable assemblies. Cores with excessive damage, missing major components, cracked housings, broken gears, welded repairs, or severe corrosion may not qualify for a full core refund.

Please note: Transfer cases returned with rusted, pitted, or otherwise unusable gears requiring replacement beyond the scope of a standard rebuild will be subject to additional charges. The final core credit amount will be determined following inspection of the returned unit.
